WEEKLY
UPDATE
ThursdayBoo chilly 21 degrees as I rolled
out...I was met by
Mike
Hodges,,,, and soon Mike D, Bob and Steve
rolled up to HH. A few phone calls and we were
informed Marjie, BOOP, Hala, and Adrienne would be
following us in cars. A quick blast out I-540 then
back roads to US-64 in Wilsonville... then a pit
stop at the Citgo station, where we met Gail,
Gene,Ducka and others from JLC. Soon there was a
line of bikes, and along came
Johnston county chapter... Once everyone was
warmed up.. we headed to Siler City... The remainder
of JLC, was waiting there along with Cape Fear, and
Port City chapters. we headed to Asheboro for our
"lunch date" photos at
All of Bob's gizmos caused
his battery to fail in
Siler
City... so he climbed into one of the cars
for the final push. Once we'd eaten, and mingled...
Mike H headed for "work" so Mike D, Steve and myself
headed for old Liberty Rd. We then returned to Siler
City... where Bob had gotten his bike started...
(seems he made BOOP, and Marjie push him down a
hill. a fun day all in all... and a nice 165 mile
start to 2009's ride total
Friday

1) The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is a free, voluntary club. There are no dues but there are some commitments. Membership in the SCRC is open to anyone with an interest in group riding regardless of race, creed or sex
2) The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is a No Dues, "Family Oriented Club" and does require some attendance to Meetings or Rides. However, lack of Communications and Participation in a 90 day period may lead to revocation of Membership at the discretion of the Chapter First Officer. The Southern Cruisers is not an Internet Club for Motorcycle enthusiasts
We all joined for our own reasons, but the club's reason for being, is group rides. Members who don't wish to participate, will be, and have been dropped.
