Dream ride:

Got it. Or maybe a BMW R75   Maybe something a little more comfortable for long rides

How long have you been riding?:

42 years and more than 100k miles   I think I first rode with Joel way back in 1968; I've ridden with a few other people over the years; now riding again since I moved here in October.

Average Miles a Year:

10k   We shall see...

What do you like about riding?:

Adventure, excitement, camaraderie. The smell of a rain fall, the feel of shifting temperatures, getting "in the zone" in the twisties. Old folks waving from lawn tractors and young folks waving from the porch. The "wave" from other motorcyclists. People who come up to ask where you've been and tell you their stories as if you were old friends.   Freedom. Way better than meditation for focusing on the here and now. But there's also the chance as a passenger to daydream.

Why did you join the SCRC?:

I have been a "lone wolf" for many years. I wanted to share this experience with others.   Joel wanted me to be a part of it.

What does SCRC mean to you?:

Friends and family   Amazing people who have welcomed me with open arms

Rides I like the most:

BRP, BRP, BRP   By the ocean

Dream trip:

Done mine (down the left coast and solo cross country on Rte 66). Next, maybe, "four corners" ride or Seattle to Alaska   The Oregon Coast

Favorite Quote:

"The few, the proud, the green."   "But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here." - Lewis Carroll

Anything else you'd like to say?:

Let's ride.   Ready to go.
