Happy Valentine's day (tomorrow)

IT'S WEDNESDAY!! Yikes. Working so much Monday got away from me. Typing this in my office. (Sound familiar??) If I keep this up I’ll blow my first officers performance bonus.

Frank, Becky, Bonnie N., and I (mostly Frank) continue to iron out plans for our WV "Back of the Dragon" trip in May. I think we have come up with some exciting routes. Don’t miss out. Put in for your time now.

Once we finalize these plans, we will post lodging info so you can make reservations.

We will start working on the June PA trip after this.

Now let me introduce our new tailgunner : Bonnie Sluder. Bonnie has agreed to take the position as tailgunner while Bob H. moves into tailgunner emeratis. Way to step up, Bonnie.

Also, we are out of member responses for our members spotlight. If you received a questionnaire, and would like to appear on the website, email us your responses with a pic (with your bike). You might be the next star. We may be sending more invites out soon.

Ride safe and ride often

This last week:

Bike night: No bike night

Poker Run Benefit from Frank

Joel, Bonnie and I met at Handy Hugo, after our coffee, and bio-breaks we headed out in the cool morning air. no brainer-route out of town... I-540 to NC-54, then a series of left and right turns through the quiet countryside. Of course we HAD to stop in Wilsonsonville, for a short break of hot chocolate (we are such "hard core bikes") and back on the road... South across Jordan Lake and the brick capital of central NC, and then west on NC-42. Pretty rolling countrysides, to keep us occupied, with a few mild sweepers thrown in, and soon we arrived in Sanford.

A pretty large group of folks from JLC#413, FP#216 were on hand to greet us, and soon JCC#222 arrived.

The usual greeting and joking ensued, followed by the pre-ride talk. And we were off... Sanford PD escorted us out of town... and we hit the open road.

First stop was at a gas station, where we were greeted by Johnny Brown, and a few of his CCC#81 members on their way elsewhere. More laughter, and teasing...

All in all a good day to be riding, and helping out the family of a member...

Over $800 raised which will help an SCRC family through tough times.

Check out the Chapter Forum or the Yahoo group from time to time to keep updated on current events and club news.

If you see an event you want to attend, and you think it might be fun to attend said event, with fellow riders... Please post something on either Yahoo, or Delphi forums. If I see it in time, I'll cross post on the other. The forums are great ways for YOU... to get to know your fellow members, and with luck, get someone to ride along.
