Weekly Update

Monday July 28, 2014

We are moved in and after a couple of weeks of unpacking, moving furniture, mounting cabinets, installing lights, running cable, etc, the place is looking good. House is just off 540, so I can zip to any of my work sites quickly. Exploring the Peak. Found Cold Stone Creamery, Tyler’s Tap Room, Yamato Steakhouse, recycling, and the town antique store. We have been to Lowe’s so many times we each have a time card and an ID badge there.

I hope you all have been riding in this great weather. Remember to hydrate well, keep covered, wear sun screen, take frequent cool off breaks and keep an eye on the weather, especially in the evening, when it can change quickly.

If you're planning on riding and would like company, or would like to lead a ride, post it via Yahoo or on Delphi or email me or Frank and we can help you. Remember, not everyone checks Delphi every day, so rides on short notice are better posted on Yahoo, which is linked to many of our emails.

Bonnie and I will be off to P-hoenix in a few weeks to ride a big Yellow Wing up to the Canyon and around the painted desert. Gonna take her back to Winslow and stand on a corner with The Eagles.

Get out and ride and take us along.

Ride safe,

Ride safe,
Joel "Doc" Kann

Bike Nite

July 18 at Stromboli Express. Good turnout with yours truly, Frank, Alain, Tony, Bonnie S., and long missed Denise and Tim "Rowdy Roddy" Duncan. Rowdy fun and good food. Denise is now a licensed massage therapist and Tim will be soon (if he hasn’t already) be getting his graduate degree in nursing and I hope enjoying some free massages. Mazel tov to you both.
