Not quite WEEKLY UPDATE

Tuesday, March 3, 2015

43 degrees today and 75, yes, 75 tomorrow, then a high of 39 on Friday. If you love roller coasters, you must be in heaven with this lambion weather. If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, Bonnie and I will be out on two wheels, burning up some gas. I’m getting tired of sitting on the bike in the garage.

I have the days off for our June BRP end to ender. (see below). No itinerary yet. I will post the info soon. Let me know if you want to be involved in the planning stage or have some favorite stops/side routes in mind.

I have cancelled my trip to Australia in June in favor of a trip to Singapore with my daughter in October to see my family, so I will have more available time in the summer for riding.

Bonnie and I have booked the bike tour of central Italy for August and are looking forward to a week of riding through Tuscany and the mountains.

I like Franks plan to do some Civil War riding this summer to battle sites and re-enactments. Many of these are a day ride from here. If you are interested, step up and help plan or lead a few. This would be especially good if you are a CW buff like Bonnie.

Ride safe,
Joel "Doc" Kann

Bike Nite

2/20/2015 Stromboli Express - Icy roads and freezing temps brought us all out in cages. I was joined by Frank, Tony and Bonnie S., Mike H., Alain and Shelley for another great night of food, fun and friends.
