Occasionally, but not quite, WEEKLY UPDATE

Tuesday, May 26, 2015

I hope you all had an enjoyable Memorial Day Weekend, no matter how you chose to spend it. I enjoyed three days of work.

With that over, Bonnie and I will head out tomorrow for our NYC trip. Leaving in the AM and up to Jamestown. Then over the bridge tunnel to the Cape May ferry and overnight near Atlantic City, before heading to Brooklyn. We should be home by the 11th.

We will probably loop back west and down through Front Royal and south to Cherokee. I'm looking at doing the waterfall loop.

I have heard from a couple of you to RSVP for our party. If you are planning on coming, (we hope you are) please RSVP soon so we can plan cookout vs catering.

Finally, after three years, I have decided to step down as First Officer of Chapter #70. It has been a privilege to head up the chapter, with the invaluable assistance of our second officer, Frank. I will hold the position until the end of July or until I hear from someone who wishes to take on the job. Many of you have been members for years and are all capable of assuming the role. If you are interested in the job, contact me. I promise the salary will not put you in a higher bracket.

I look forward to continue to ride with all of you.

Ride safe,
Joel "Doc" Kann
